This week the photo club that I belong to had to take down its month long show at the art gallery. All the photos on display were also for sale but not many of the great art peaces sold.

Over the years I have noticed at other photo and art sales that people are just not ready to shell out for “a picture that they could have taken with their own camera”. In their mind photography is not “Art” so why buy it.

Today the club “MPC” or “Monthly Photo Challenge” is “Nature Abstract”. Now in my mind nature has a wonderfull sense of art. Every where you look there are elements combined to create “Art”. Most people don’t stop to see it, but a photographers eye see what’s out there and captures it for everyone to see.

The next time you visit an Art Gallery seriously consider the photographs and what the photographers eye saw.
