This morning was another rainy start to a rainy day. Last night there wasn’t any wind so I left the awning unfurled so the chairs under it were dry enough to sit and have the first coffee of the day.

While I enjoyed the warm cup in my hands, I saw vehicles making their way up Anarchist into a dense cloud at the top.

That’s when I traded my empty coffee mug for my camera and see what images I can capture from the dry haven under the awning.

The two sets of hand weights sit idle awaiting a fair weather work-out.

The vineyard next door has all the trimmed vines attached to wires now ladened with drops from the rain.

With all the rain, Mr Robin or is it Mrs. (I can never tell the difference), dropped by to see if the worms were out in our neighbourhood and paused to see what I was doing.

I always like watching the rain and the feeling it gives, all fresh and renewed. Thank you to the people that wash their cars or windows to make it happen.
Until we meet again.
