When Asked For Texture

As a photographer you have many challenges. Most you set yourself, some you accept from others. This week I accepted one such challenge in the form of one word “Texture”.

Firstly you start thinking “How to put this word into an image?”. Looking at other photos with texture in the title helps some what but one still must find a subject close to you.

Definition: tex·ture /ˈteksCHər/

noun 1. the feel, appearance, or consistency of a surface or a substance.”skin texture and tone” synonyms: feeltouch

verb 1. give (a surface, especially of a fabric or wall covering) a rough or raised texture.”wallcoverings which create a textured finish”

So my journey begins.
